Our story

On a cloudy spring night in New York City, chords were strung (literally) as Gurshi and Phil first met, standing front row at a rhythm and blues concert. In between artists’ sets, conversation grew, sparks flew, and music was experienced together. The soulful tunes had brought our souls as one for the evening and thus our journey started..

Since then life has been filled with family, friends, love, and even more music- all the things needed to help support each other throughout our careers in fashion and architecture.

It truly is quite a blessing to have found each other in this small speck of the universe, and we are blessed to be able to share our story with you-

The Proposal

Phil and Gurshi planned their first out of country trip together to the serene streets of Mexico City. During the trip, Phil had arranged a garden tour of Casa Ortega, a home designed by renowned architect, Luis Barragan. The residence features beautiful sequenced hardscapes and luscious gardens with flora in bloom all year round.

After reaching the house and meandering through the gardens, we reached the outdoor dining area of the home. And just as Gurshi noticed the photographer that had been following them from a distance, Phil got down on one knee and asked the question of forming a forever union of love and matrimony.

The skies above had blessed our unity official- and soon we may celebrate it with you 🤍
